A play about celebrity chefs and the price you have to pay for ambition, from the Imaginary Body, the team behind the smash hit 100.

Top chef Frank Byrne has one ambition in life - to win the coveted third Michelin star for his restaurant, which will bring him the success he craves and confirm his reputation as the best. But reaching the top comes at a price...

Set in the turbulent world of celebrity chefs, Food explores the compulsive nature of perfectionism and the sacrifices we make to realise our dreams.

Joel Horwood and Christopher Heimann's play Food was first staged by the Imaginary Body at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, in 2006, winning an Edinburgh Fringe First Award.
