ANGELS AND ALL CHILDREN

Angels and All Children is a musical retelling of the Nativity story that can be performed with grand elaboration or sweet simplicity. The world lies in darkness. Time is stuck at midnight, and the children of the world are unable to awaken from sleep until the morning light returns. Until then, the parents are sad and lonely. But God loves the world and decides to send a saviour. He sends a baby, born in a manger, to bring light to the world and angels to awaken the children. There are five individual characters: a narrator, God, Gabriel, Mary and Joseph, and a chorus of any size. Children may easily participate in the joyous resolution of the story. This is a fresh, accessible, marvelously emotional approach to the story of the birth of the child Jesus. The set is infinitely flexible and can fit a great variety of spaces. Running time varies from 45 minutes to an hour.#13#10
