Martin and Sharon seem to be very much in love, as they get ready for one of Martin's beloved karaoke competitions. But as the harmless banter turns to the subject of chilren, Sharon is forced to reveal her secret. Following a botched backstreet-abortion as a teenager, she is no longer able to have children. Martin is desperate for a family, so Sharon is terrified that she will disappoint him. After a roller-coaster ride of emotions from great joy to rock-bottom despair, the couple decide that their love for each other is the most important thing and that the problem of children is something they must face together.
